Course summary
This course is designed to teach students the required industry knowledge and further develop necessary skills to be able to obtain formal trade qualifications in cookery. This is a non-apprenticeship course. The prospects are excellent because experienced cooks are required Australia - wide. Qualified cooks enjoy good salaries and security of employment. The opportunity also exists to open a business of their own after gaining the necessary skills and knowledge.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must be above 18 years of aga and successfully complete final year of secondary education or be of mature age. An IELTS score of 5.5 for applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds is required to enroll in this course.
