Course description:
This program aims to provide students with knowledge, skills and abilities to practice effectively as a clinical pharmacy practitioner involved in medicine use and pharmaceutical care, individualise, review and monitor a patient's medication regimen, demonstrate clear communication skills in clinical or non-clinical scenarios, critique and apply research methodologies relevant to clinical pharmacy practice, understand management or social issues in pharmacy and their relevance to clinical pharmacy practice, undertake a substantial research project and specialty clinical electives.
Entry requirements:
Students must have completed Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) or Master of Clinical Pharmacy (coursework/research) or equivalent. Students must be registered as a pharmacist (must be a registered pharmacist in Australia) and have two years professional pharmacy experience. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS academic: overall score of 6.5 with a minimum writing score of 6, TOEFL: overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) and TOEFL (CBT): overall score of 237 and a minimum score of 4.5 in the Essay rating.
