Course description:
This course aims to provide students with a cognate undergraduate degree the opportunity to link the breadth of general management knowledge and skills of a MBA with the depth of expertise in a chosen business discipline. Students entering BS16 Master of Business (Study Area A) (Advanced) are granted up to 48 credit points of advanced standing if they have an undergraduate degree in a cognate area. As entry to BS24 requires students to have an undergraduate degree in a cognate discipline, the double Masters degree builds on this arrangement by offering students the opportunity to complete a Study Area without needing to complete 48 credit points of introductory level units and without having to complete the MBA elective units that would be granted as advanced standing in BS16 and BS17.
Entry requirements:
Students from India must have a four year bachelor degree or master degree with good grade. Pakistan students must have completed honours bachelor degree or master degree with good grade. Singaporean and Malaysian students must have completed a three year bachelor degree. Students from China and USA must have completed a four year bachelor degree. They should also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic): overall score of 6, with sub-scores of 6 and TOEFL (Internet based): overall score of 80 with sub-scores of 20.

Students must complete the application form and attach it with the following documents: certified/notarised copies of award certificates, academic transcripts and English language proficiency test (original). A non-refundable application fee of AUD$55 must be attached with the application. The completed application form must be submitted to QUT Admissions, Victoria Park Road, Kelvin Grove, QLD 4059.
