Once the whole excitement of coming overseas to study has died down… will it really hit you that being in a completely foreign place is not all fun and games. But rest assured, the experience and lessons learnt will be among the most rewarding you’ll ever receive.
Like all other top Australian university, top marks from your foundation/ year 12 is essential. Visa applications are pretty easy so you shouldn’t expect to break sweat.
Scholarships are advertised all over campus and on the website, so its important to keep a look out for them.
It can get pretty competitive but thankfully people are still generally friendly and being able to converse with your educators via the internet is really helpful. You generally slog approximately 12 hours a week but you will have to put double that for self studying.
The university is located close to all amenities. Entertainment is always closer! Part time jobs are relatively easy to find, just remember to bring the right attitudes!
Being in only my second year, I’ve yet to really gauge my marketability once I graduate but I’m sure the university will have its links to smoothen some pathways?
