Spending my years at Murdoch College has been the best time overall... You may have to learn but also meet with international students from various countries! One advice is do get yourself to know everyone and take the course activity they offer because they are worth going. Murdoch College or Uni, they both are great to go if you are a person who likes to socialise.

If you used to go to school in Australia, it is easier to transfer to Murdoch College but if you want to start at Murdoch College but you are in Malaysia, its a bit hard because you might need to repeat a year, depends on what year you are doing and how well your english and your grades are. You can go to Murdoch College, visa wont be hard to get. One advice is make sure your English is good so that your studies are much easier and making new friends is easier as well.

Not too sure about scholarships that the school give. Never heard of any student from my school that has a scholarship or a sponsor or what so ever...

I have taken Accounting, Discrete Maths, Human Biology and English Language and Cultural Study (ELACS) under the WAUFP program. The best class to be in is ELACS because its the only time you will get the opportunity to work with others and also get to know people. At Murdoch College, when you are in year 12, you need a lot of time to study as the exam is really hard but when its time for the end of year exam, it tends to be easier if you had studied during the year. Reccommend 2 hour of study per night... in class, you have many opportunity to ask question and you dont need to be shy to ask question as the class has a fair little student... Study in Murdoch College is worth every penny

Life Experience: I am proud to say it is the best time of my life to be able to meet with people, to get a leadership leading my house, meet people and make friends with the Australians and with people from all over the world. Town, City, Countryside: Perth is a great place for shopping but prices are quite expensive. But as for a town that has the facilities to make life simple, Perth is not bad. The town is clean and public transport is very good and always on time. Students and local people: Students in Perth is very friendly, international students are friendly and local people are friendly too. If you're an international student, local people always be nice to you. Accommodation: House rental is very expensive in Perth but it is very cheap if you do a house share. Homestay is also very expensive in Perth. House share is more worthy than house rental or homestay. You can find house share everywhere in the city or on the university bulletin board. Part-Time work: part time job in Perth is easy to find but they dont pay high unless you work there for a long time. For high school student looking for part time job is not reccommended but as a university student looking for part time job is reccommended because you have more free time for you to do have a job. Societies/Clubs: I am the Lincoln House Captain 2009 of Murdoch College and also part of the Murdoch College Guild member. There are no specific clubs or societies for international students that is official but you can be part of a community in Forums. Just search for what your interested in - for example, cars, and you like Nissan Silvia and you own one, you may join the SilviaWA forum on their website and get to meet people over there and they also organise a cruise or meet up a few times in a year
