University experience is very enjoyable. It is a very huge, with lots of students from different countries, truly speaking University. It has a superb environment for study as well as fun. My advice to all future students is work hard but also have a Fun!!!
Admission through QTAC was fairly easy, though a bit straight. When i was in Malasiya i have found a lot of information for UQ. I have printed out all papers which i have to fill in and send back to the university to get admission. But i would like to say to all future students make sure to check your application with the university to ensure that there are no mistakes. so there will be no problem.
There are many scholarships available more than 100 and you can found them all on the University Website. Just try to apply for every scholarship.
Pharmacy is very good. The things we learn are interesting. Studying hours at university for science are usually 20 - 30 hours week. Lecturers and tutors are generally very good. And it is easy to find out support from other sources.
University facilities are generally nice. Most necessities can be found close to University campus or on Campus. All students are very friendly and supportive. And it is fairly easy to find a part time work as we get lots of support from university like agencies name who recruit students, university provides part time work if available in library, in canteen etc.
University of Queensland is a reputable institution and definitely improve my job prospects. I will probably keep in touch with fellow alumni as we will eventually be working in the same field.
