So far so good. Starting out here did give me something of a culture shock in terms of the teacher methods and how dynamic things are done here.
i actually did a twinning course in malaysia before coming here so getting in here wasn't too hard. Getting a visa wasn't too hard either.
Like i said, it is a whole lot more dynamic and exciting here. Although it did take soe getting used to, i feel its definitely a good step in the right direction. The lecturers and tutors do try to be as engaging as possible. With this course being very hands on it shouldn't be long before you're at ease with your surroundings.
being in perth is probably not the best place to be for media but apart from that this place is really nice. the culture is abit more laid back and the air is fresh. public transportation would be the major gripe after midnight.
definitely try to get to know your lecturers better as they are part of the industry and are a wealth of contacts.
