Going into my penultimate year of uni you sort of really begin to realize what a great place this is and how everything youve been studying over the years are beginning to make more sense which just adds to the sense of achievement.
Admissions shouldnt be a problem if youve done your bit and done well for pre-u. As one of the top universities in Australia, it is normal for them to have high entry requirements. Getting a visa is easy just remember to follow instructions and not procrastinate.
The work load really gets heavier and heavier as the year passes so additional effort is very important! Contact hours dont really mean much as you could sometimes afford to skip lectures as you might be better off studying on your own sometimes! Support is on hand when needed. The course is pretty expensive and I highly doubt its real value for money.
Life here is good. Its a little laid back which did take some getting used to. I would advise new international students to get involved in various club activities and be open towards mixing with people of other cultures. Thats the best way to really embrace and to enjoy your stay here.
I will be looking to continue my studies here after I graduate as I absolutely love being a student here!
